There I was, on my way to Cocoa Village with my family when I received a phone call
from my long distance best friend. “Is there any way you could go to Universal with
us this weekend?” She asked with a held breath. Quickly I glanced over to my mom
with a jumble of words coming out in a loud excited tone. With a few tweaks, little
did I know that morning I would be seeing my best friend. She lives in Georgia, a
state away may not seem like much but we rarely get to see each other. Maybe every
other year, but this time it was only after a few months would I get to see her
again!

So we turned around and rushed home. A huge smile was plastered on my face the
whole rest of the day. Quickly I packed the necessities some jeans and tee shirts,
sunglasses, converse, and camera. A few long hours later we reunited again. The
whole weekend was filled with many new things and excitement! The first day we went
to Islands of Adventure where Spider-Man and my first roller coaster awaited us…

I tried many new things on this trip like for one, spontaneity. Never have I ever
done something spontaneous. I plan and plan to the very last detail. The feeling of
it was a complete adrenaline rush of excitement! I encourage you to try to do
something spontaneous, with patience and a push outside of your comfort zone it
could be one of the best times. I also went on my first roller coaster! How crazy
is that to say? With a little hardcore confidential music from the Comic Strip area,
we were on a super badass mission, the Dragon Challenge in Hogsmeade. Now this
roller coaster was based off the dragon challenge in the Harry Potter and the
Goblet of Fire triwizard championship. It consisted of many upside down loops
and corkscrew turns. We managed to keep our confidence all the way till it was
time to load… and we had to pee really bad. I have to admit I am fairly
surprised we did not cry or wet ourselves. The second time, we rode the very
first row! Afterwards I could not walk straight!

The second day, my personal favorite, was Universal Studios. The Hollywood section
was my favorite because we met the gang of Mystery Incorporated! I hugged both
Shaggy and Scooby-Doo and they wore our sunglasses for our picture. In the end, I
bought a really large and soft Scooby Doo. One exactly from my childhood funnily
enough. We also met the Grinch and rode the Dr. Suess carrousel which was very fun
for two 16 and 17 year olds. I am a huge fan of Back to The Future and so imagine
my excitement when we met Doc!

Sadly, Twister has been taken out of Universal but is being replaced with a new
thing called Race Through New York with Jimmy Fallon. All around Jimmy was pictured
on a wall doing different poses so we decided to recreate them!

I love the amount of pictures we took and the memories we made. Yet again,
it was one of the best Valentine’s Days ever. This just proves that Valentine’s
day is not just for your lover but also the people you love and your self as well.
And as always I have a couple special songs I will leave below.
In honor of our trip to Margaritaville too, it is only necessary to add the song.
SALT! SALT! SALT!
